A walk around the farm of Kenneth Jobe

We purchased our first Pineywoods cow in 2014. Like a lot people I did my research into the breed before I bought them. Over the past 5 years I have discovered that they truly are a remarkable animal. Everything I read about them I can now say with experience is true.

Pineywoods are incredibly disease resistant. I have never had to assist a cow in delivering. Since they don’t need lush pasture, it makes watching them thrive in the pine forest of the Southeast the best part.

The genetics of this rare heritage breed are worth preserving.

If you are interested in becoming one of the breeders that is working to preserve this wonderful animal, or you just want to talk about cows, give me a call.
